HANNAH COSIMA SEIFERT
The ceramic artist Hannah Cosima Seifert, born and raised in Vienna, has been working as an ceramicist and teaching ceramics since 2014. Her very delicate, natural & feminine design language is mainly influenced by the japanese ceramic culture, embodying softness, tranquility and authenticity. The aesthetics of her designs often repeated in haptics, unusual textures & individual color contrasts.
Through Hannah's intuitive work, she creates pieces that can be expressive yet calming and minimalist. Her sense of design & form language developed by continuously improving wheel throwing, practice & observing. Always influenced by guiding her students and their work. Passionate about the impact & enrichment of working with clay, Hannah enthusiastically shares her expertise with her students. She finds fulfillment throughout teaching & observing how the material gets such an important resource for so many people.
Over the years, Hannah has worked in various community studios in Vienna & she enjoys working with colleagues of the same field.bHannah worked as an instructor at rami ceramics in the 2nd district & at the Kunst Volkshochschule in Lazarettgasse.
Now, Hannah has found herself in her happy place, the ceramic atelier ‘studio ok’ which is run by Berit Reuter Ransmayr in the middle of the 7th district in vienna.
