MEET THE FOUNDERS
House of Auster is a Vienna-based design universe founded in June 2023. After careers in the interior design and fashion industry, founders Andreea Cebuc and Carola Pojer, partnered to create Vienna‘s first shoppable apartment. A unique shopping experience, inspired by a trip to New York City over 6 years ago.
Andreeas expertise lies in Interior design and architecture. Born in Resita, Romania she moved to Austria at a young age and completed her architecture studies at the Vienna University of Technology. At the age of 29 she founded her own interior deisgn studio, C‘est Design, working for renowned clients including Hermès, Park Hyatt Group, Moët Hennessy.
Carolas expertise lies in Fashion, Photography and Decoration. Born in Graz, Styria she studied photography and performing arts in Graz and Vienna, founded one of Austrias most successful fashion blogs viennawedekind.com (working with Chanel, Prada, Net A Porter, Vogue) and started her own ceramic label, One of a Kind, which is also available at House of Auster.
While Andreea brings in her knowledge as interior designer with a soft spot for bold colours and pattern, Carolas defines herself as minimalist with a love for monochromes and muted colours. These different perspectives leed to the unique and modern handwriting of House of Auster, a continually evolving and thriving space for design loving people.
