TERESA BERGER
Teresa Berger is an interdisciplinary designer from Vienna. Her love for design and art led her to pursue textile art and graphic design studies before she decided to further her education at Design Academy Eindhoven in The Netherlands.
She embarked on a journey working with international design studios before founding her studio in early 2020. Teresa's primary medium is clay, which she uses to create functional objects that blur the boundaries between art and design, abstraction and function. Teresa's work encompasses a wide range of ceramics, including larger, sculptural one-off pieces and series of utilitarian objects such as tableware made with slip-casting. Her designs harmoniously blend form, texture, color and show her artistic exploration into the haptic language of ceramic surfaces. Teresa develops all glazes herself and she conducts numerous glaze tests and experiments to achieve the ideal glaze colour and viscosity.
